That sounds like it would be fun. Dancing always brings joy to people - and I think that he might need it especially. [
is he remembering who hiza is talking about just from name? hm.
anyway it's fine? higekiri doesn't seem to think that this is odd even though the bathtub is probably just barely large enough for them both. sharing baths is just something that you do? but he'll make a happy little noise since the water is warm from the get-go now, even as he sits down and already begins to splash some water on his chest to try to make the stickiness go away]
I would like to see if someone has a key to what they say... Did you speak to [a pause] Night... feather...? After all the lights were extinguished?

[Anija...? Remembering...?
It's fine.
The two of them can be wedged into the bathtub together. It helps that he sits in front of Higekiri facing forward so their long leggies don't get in the way. He does keep having to turn around at the waist though to make sure Higekiri gets the cloth to wash. Time to wash the sin off.]
Nightfeather...? I've only spoken to you. I'm going to check on Prompto-san and maybe Junpei-san after... What does Nightfeather look like? [He knows his bro.] Do you think someone here can read what the paper says...? Maybe Nikkari-san? If it's a demon language...

anyway higekiri is happy to take that wash cloth, running it across his chest, shoulders, and arms rather easily. he wonders how many situations he'll feel like he needs to wash odd substances off his body... but oh well. he'll help hiza in turn, taking the wash cloth in hand as he runs it over his brother's back because that can be hard to reach?]
Dark hair... He says he is a superhero, and he is very good at codes and technology. He is one of the people who was missing during the time the lights were off and he found a notebook for his efforts. Currently, his right hand is injured. [so there's a helpful enough description??] We can see if one of our comrades may be able to... Many here are from other worlds -
I would be curious if the language belongs to one of them. That would be rather telling, wouldn't it?

[He'll look for a dark-haired man who has an injured right hand.]
It would be telling. Do you think someone with us knows what is happening, but won't say it...?
[Ahhh, anija! He could cry! He sort of stupidly, happily beams in place while Higekiri cleans his back. He has the best elder brother ever!]
Thank you, elder brother.

[but he's just thoughtful even as he puts some product into his hand]
I believe... Moving forward, we will have to be worried about the concept of duplicates, or possession. It sounds as though our enemy may switch hosts in order to obscure itself. The note that Nightfeather found implied similarly - making it difficult to trust even friends.
It's a bit troubling... but perhaps there is a way to cleanse the body of it so the demon may be killed.

Hizamaru can't exactly dunk himself, so he leans forward and hangs his head, cupping water and hefting it up to pour it continuously over his head until it's wet. He pushes it all back when he straightens up again and is still for Higekiri.]
That's worrying, elder brother. I don't like it at all. I trust you more than anyone. I don't want... to not trust you. And Junpei-san, and Prompto-san... And our comrades... It wouldn't feel right to not trust our friends.
We're supposed to work together.

Mm... That would be nice - wouldn't it? Though I suppose this is similar to how others had to see through espionage and betrayal during times of war...
[a soft hum]
At the very least, I won't betray you if I have any choice in the matter. The same for the allies that we've made here. Perhaps the demon will have tells in their behavior so that we can know that it is no longer 'us' in our own bodies.
no subject
Don't worry, elder brother. I won't betray you either. We'll always be brothers--we'll know. If there's a demon pretending to be you, I would be able to tell. Or if it had possessed your body, I would know it wasn't you.
[He drops his head back a bit to peer at Higekiri. He grins just slightly, and then he drops himself heavily back onto Higekiri so his weight it smooshing.]
no subject
[he manages a soft exhale with the shift in the weight - but he still manages to catch his brother, letting his arms slip around his shoulders even as he blows gently on his bubble mohawk, making some of them float right back down onto the surface of the water.]
I'd like it if it were that simple...
[he'll be optimistic but also - he wonders if it will be? at the very least... he hums softly, thoughtfully]
But I suppose we will always find our way to each other's side. And that will be the testament if we are demons or otherwise.
no subject
I won't let any demons possess you, elder brother. I promise. We will protect the humans together, and we'll find a way to return everyone to their times. Us, too.
Even if we don't understand why we were put on this mission with our comrades, I'm sure the master would be proud of us.

and then scooping up handfuls of water to was his hair out]
Then I suppose I will work hard too. Promise.
